Authorities Search for Oklahoma Fire Truck Thief

HOMER, Okla. (KETN) – The Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a fire truck thief.

Deputies say they were responding to a call around 2 a.m. Friday when they saw the truck leaving its bay at the Homer Volunteer Fire Department.

They realized it was stolen after dispatchers said the truck was not answering a call.

Sheriff John Christian said the truck was found later that morning in a barn in the town of Stonewall. MORE
