SVI Trucks built this rescue-pumper, the fourth in a series, for the Loveland (CO) Fire Rescue Authority. (All photos courtesy of SVI Trucks.)
The Loveland rescue-pumper is built on a Spartan Gladiator MFD chassis and cab, powered by a Cummins 450-hp ISL9 engine and an Allison 3000 EVS automatic transmission.
The rescue-pumper that SVI built for Loveland has a Waterous 1,500-gpm rear-mount pump, a 500-gallon water tank, a 20-gallon Class A foam cell, a FoamPro 2001 foam system, and Akron Brass valves.
Loveland's rescue-pumper has an extended front bumper that carries 150-feet of preconnected 1¾-inch hose in a covered tray.
Curbside-Rear-Hosebed-Open-6.tiffLoveland's rescue-pumper has no crosslays, but rather deploys all hand lines off the rear. The hosebed and preconnects are covered by a center-split diamond plate hosebed cover.
