Photographer Steve Redick recently visited Detroit, Michigan, and took a variety of photos of Detroit rigs, equipment, and stations.
From Redick: "Made a quick trip to the former fire capital of the world...Detroit. Overall, very slow..managed to get a decent shot of the new Ladder 7 in front of quarters...Check out the plumbing arrangement on the leftmost of the 2 guns in the basket close up...Attended two jobs worth a mention...both commercial boxes. One an occupied auto repair shop...came in as an automatic alarm. The other was two dwellings going pretty good but a very quick knockdown. They returned to that some location an hour or two later and had a good fire in the exposure building from the first job. We sat that one out as we thought it was gonna be a rekindle. Flew the drone over some old firehouses...made for some cool images. Saw lots of new rigs and generally had an interesting time. Here is a link to all the images and a brief video."
