Samaha Associates PC was selected by Cityline Partners LLC to design this station. Growing development made the new three-bay, 13,850-square-foot fire station necessary to meet the community’s need for emergency services.
The 1.2-acre site includes 18 feet of sloping grade change. Samaha’s concept nests the structure into the hillside. Building occupants can exit onto grade from both levels. The station’s compact design allows yields an efficient plan and aids in rapid response. The facility also includes restrooms managed by the Fairfax County (VA) Park Authority to serve future athletic fields adjacent to the building.
