Tubac (AZ) Station 3, built by Breckenridge Group, is 9,200 square feet and has three double-deep, drive-through apparatus bays. (All photos courtesy of Breckenridge Group.)
Station 3's apparatus room currently houses a Ferrara Freightliner engine, a Type 6 Ford F-550 wildland engine, and two ambulances.
The rear of Station 3 has a covered patio off the kitchen for outdoor cooking and dining.
Tubac Fire District wanted to fully engage the community in the new fire station and included a community room at the front of Station 3.
Dorm rooms at Station 3 have a single bed, desk, and three lockers.
The kitchen in Station 4 has solid-surface counter tops and wood-faced cabinetry.
This view of the rear of Station 4 shows the covered patio area facing the Santa Rita Mountains in the distance.
