Ergodyne added the 6900 Warming Vest with NobleTek Insulation and the 6825 Nomex Fleece Balaclava to its N-Ferno line.

The N-Ferno 6900 is an Argon-insulated vest that provides warmth, comfort and flexibility without the added bulk of natural or synthetic fiber. Instead of trapping dead air in thick cells, the 6900 uses flexible, airtight, yet breathable chambers filled with Argon gas. Ergodyne said the 6900’s 4.5-mm layer of Argon has the same thermal conductivity as 14 mm of the best synthetic or natural fibers currently on the market.

NobleTek insulation allows users to adjust their level of warmth with the turn of a dial. It was available on Jan. 1 via authorized Ergodyne distributors.

The N-Ferno 6825 Balaclava has stretchable Nomex fleece and delivers warmth, comfort, and flame resistant (FR) protection, according to the company. It was available in December from authorized Ergodyne distributors.
