IN THE NEWS: Former Employee Joins UPF Sales Team

Gerald Cannon has joined the sales team of United Plastic Fabricating (UPF).

Cannon, a graduate of the University of Auburn with a bachelor’s degree in industrial management, has worked in the fire service for more than 15 years, including at one time the position of plant manager for the UPF Florida facility.

Bill Bruns, UPF’s vice president of sales and marketing, said Cannon has a vast knowledge of the industry and its customers.

“We are pleased that he chose to re-join UPF and look forward to working together to continue the growth the UPF customer base,” Bruns said.

UPF makes polypropylene water and foam tanks for fire apparatus, foam trailers, skid units, wetside tankers and elliptical tanks. The company has facilities in North Andover, Mass., Ocala, Fla., and Neenah, Wis.
