Worcester (MA) Fire Apparatus Receives Blessing

The Rev. Walter Riley provided a blessing for Worcester’s new fire truck, reports telegram.com.

The truck — a 2020 E-One pumper — replaces a 22-year-old truck and brings the department closer to its goal of having trucks no older than 15 years.

Worcester Mayor Joseph M. Petty said that more than six years ago, when City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr. came to work for the city, one of the issues was Fire Department appropriations.
