West Tisbury (MA) Fire Apparatus Hits Cargo Van

West Tisbury rear-ended a cargo van that then hit the back of the SUV, reports MV Times.

The fire truck was returning from an alarm call.

The crash caused significant damage to the cargo van and the fire truck, which sustained damage to the radiator, hood, lights, and bumper. Fire officials are hopeful that the damage does not extend to inter mechanical components of the engine.

Tisbury Fire Chief Greg Leland confirmed Tisbury will provide rescue coverage for West Tisbury.
