Waterous HMI Pump Control System

ST. PAUL, MN—Waterous Company, has introduced the Tellurus HMI pump control system. The sophisticated system provides innovation in managing fire pump use from a central location, supported by the power of Intel technology.

Designed to control Waterous’ ONE STEP™ CAFSystem™, Tellurus is powered by the Intel Gateway Solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT). This inventive technology gave Waterous engineers flexibility, security and speed when it came to developing Tellurus.

Operational features of the Tellurus HMI pump control system include managing the foam proportioner, water pump and CAFSystem from one central location on the apparatus; monitoring engine and pump performance as well as intake and disposal; and easily controlling wet and dry foam settings. These features provide firefighters with easier pump controls, more flexibility and increased nimbleness on the fire scene.
