WATCH | Boulder (CO) Fire Station 3 Grand Opening and Electric Pumper Push-In Ceremony

Boulder, Colorado community members were invited to tour the inside of Boulder Fire-Rescue’s new Station 3 Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, at the official grand opening event.

Boulder’s newest fire station has been slowly gaining functionality since November 2024. Administrative offices and EMS crews began occupying the new station last fall, and slowly the new station has become a replacement for the older Station 3. Boulder Fire-Rescue Station 3, located at 30th and Bluff Street, replaces the older Station 3 on 30th and Arapahoe. Along with the change in location comes increased safety for the community and improved health and wellness of firefighters.

Community members got to see the department’s first electric pumper at the grand opening as well at witness the official push-in of the engine into the bay.
