Video: Pierce Arrow XT TDA Walk-Around

Chief Scott Garber walks around the Staunton (VA) Fire Department’s Arrow XT™ tractor-drawn aerial. The department chose the Arrow XT and added TAK-4® Independent Front and Rear Suspension. Since this apparatus will be serving as a rescue, the tandem axle was chosen for increased load capacity for rescue equipment, added braking capacity and improved winter driving. The Hercules™ CAFS Self Contained Foam System was chosen for its extinguishment capability since this apparatus will be replacing a true quint. The 107′ Ascendant® Ladder also features a prepiped waterway that pumps up to 1,500 gpm.
