Vermilion Fire Hall has welcomed a new water tanker, reports MyLloydMinisterNow.

The new truck will replace a truck from 2009 that will be donated to the Blackfoot Fire Department.

The tanker can fill it’s 3,000-gallon tank from a slough or pond in around seven minutes. The truck also has a front-mounted turret that can be controlled from the truck via a joystick.

The fire department now has three pumpers, a rescue vehicle and other fire equipment.
