Upland Council Approves Loan for Improvements

The Upland Council approved a $1 million loan through the Delaware Valley Regional Finance Authority to purchase a new fire truck and ancillary equipment and build an addition to the firehouse.

The engine, a 2012 rescue-style pumper, will be custom built by Seagrave Fire Apparatus, Clintonville, (WI).

The fire company has nine fire and executive officers operating from an 8-foot-by-20-foot office and the addition will provide needed space.
