The Fort Saskathewan (Alberta, Canada) Fire Department has taken delivery of two new engines.

The fire apparatus are built on E-ONE‘s Typhoon cabs and chassis. Both rigs feature increased lighting and storage space and built-in foam systems.

The pumpers are considered “all-hazard response units,” which the department says means they are equipped with 90 percent of what is needed at every incident 90 percent of the time. The department expects this to be a more cost-effective method because it will not have to send multiple vehicles to incidents.
