TVFD Orders New Rescue Truck

The Teague Volunteer Fire Department plans to replace the department’s rescue truck, reports The Teague Chronicle.

The department chose Deep South Fire Apparatus to build the new rescue at a cost of $109,300. It should be delivered around November this year.

The new rescue will have a 2012 Dodge 4×4 crew cab chassis and an aluminum 11 foot walk around rescue body.

The rescue body will have numerous equipment slide-out trays, adjustable shelves, and scene lighting. Compared to the current rescue truck operated by the department, the new rescue has much more compartment space for equipment storage.
