The Tobiano (B.C., Canada) Fire Department recently purchased a used 2007 E-ONE International Pumper from Rocky Mountain Phoenix for $160,000, which replaces the department’s 27-year-old pumper, reports castanet.net.

A Thompson-Nicola Regional District official says the department had been looking for a replacement truck for the last two years.

In addition to the apparatus, plans for a new firehall are currently being worked on by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District and a developer. Officials say construction on the hall will start as soon as possible, with it being operational in 2022.
