Three People Killed in Barbour County (WV) Fire Apparatus Crash

Three people were killed Tuesday night when a car struck a fire truck on Route 250 in Barbour County south of Philip Barbour High School.

Investigators said the driver of the car headed along 4-H Camp Road did not stop at a stop sign and struck the fire truck that was traveling on Route 219. Both vehicles ended up on different sides of an embankment.

The names of the victims have not been released.

Several fire departments and Barbour County EMS responded.
