Streamlight has introduced three new LED lights – a miniature key-chain unit, a headlamp and task light and a hand-held unit.
The Nano Light is truly a tiny key-chain flashlight, using a long-lasting LED with a 100,000 hour life span, measuring just under 1.5 inches
long and a half inch wide, weighing .36 ounces.
It’s made out of machined aircraft-grade aluminum and features a 5-millimeter white LED that’s impervious to shock and offers a run time of up
to eight hours, powered by four coin cell batteries.

Streamlight has also introduced new versions of its LED Argo and Argo HP headlamps and Task-Light, as well as the Streamlight Jr. and Streamlight Jr. Reach.
The company said it incorporated the next advance in LED technology called C4 LEDs, which have both the light output and efficacy to rival
traditionally brighter incandescent light sources.

Lastly, Streamlight has introduced its brightest LED flashlight ever, called the Super-Tac, featuring the new LED technology resulting in a light source that is three times brighter than standard LEDs, according to the company. The Super-Tac light has up to 135 lumens measured system output.

When combined with Streamlight’s proprietary deep-dish parabolic reflector optics, the compay said Super-Tac delivers a superior long-range targeting beam with ample peripheral illumination for navigation.

“The Super-Tac significantly extends the long-range illumination capabilities of the LED flashlight far beyond what has previously been available,” said Streamlight Chief Operating Officer Ray Sharrah. “This gives professional users, including industrial technicians, first responders, utility workers, mechanics and others an incredibly bright tool for situations where there is little or no natural light, such as when working underground, deep under a vehicle hood or navigating a dark, smoky fire scene.”

Machined from aircraft aluminum with a durable black anodized finish, the Super-Tac offers one-handed operation with a tail-cap push button switch that offers a choice of momentary or constant “on” modes or a lock-out “safe” mode for travel or storage. The light is powered by two 3-volt lithium batteries.

The 50,000-hour lifetime rated C4 LED is also shockproof, and the flashlight contains an unbreakable, scratch-resistant coated polycarbonate lens. A holster is included for easy attachment to a belt.

Headquartered in Eagleville, Pa., Streamlight is a leading manufacturer of high-performance lighting equipment for professional automotive, firefighting, law enforcement, military, industrial and outdoor applications.
