Tabor District Getting Used Fire Truck

The Tabor Rural Fire Protection District (SD) is getting a used fire truck thanks to a $141,750 loan from United States Department of Agricultural Rural Development, reports The Daily Republic.

The department has purchased a 2000 IH 2 1/2 ton fire truck with chassis and necessary apparatus.

The district was in need of an truck that could provide at least 1,000 gallons per minute pumping capacity to meet minimum state standards.
