The fire department’s recently acquired a 2005 Seagrave Concorde XT Rescue Engine, reports The Northern Virginia Daily.

The apparatus was a donation from Round Hill Volunteer Fire Department and will replace two older vehicles.

With the new apparatus, the Strasburg department will just need to deploy the new rescue engine and an ambulance to the scene.

The Round Hill Fire Department, which is in Loudoun County, no longer needed the vehicle and learned of the need from the country ham fundraiser.
