Sterling (IL) Fire Apparatus Overturns

A Sterling (IL) fire truck overturned on its way to a call.



An official with the Sterling Fire Department said the truck was responding headed to Interstate 88 on Friday morning.



Before it arrived at its destination, the truck ran into trouble around West Lynn Boulevard and Avenue E. and fell onto its side. 



The official says all firefighters who were on board are okay.

At the time of the report, crews were pulling out equipment from the truck and waiting for a wrecker.
