The St. Clair Township Fire Department has two new pumper trucks to replace aging vehicles, reports BlackBurnNews.com.

The department was able to save over $150,000 on each truck by utilizing basically, the crew compartment from a custom-built cab and the commercial chassis from Freightliner.

The trucks can each pump 6,000 litres per minute, and have a 3,700-litre water tank and a foam system.
