Road Rescue received additional capital investment and leadership support from its parent company, Spartan Motors, in an initiative to strengthen the smaller company’s operation and performance. Spartan Motors is also investing in the development of new Road Rescue products.
David L. Reid, a Spartan Motors vice president, is directing daily operations at Road Rescue. With more than 30 years of leadership experience, Reid will have profit/loss responsibility for Road Rescue as well as for its sister company, Crimson Fire.
Reid spent more than 20 years with Herman Miller Inc., where he held management positions in Milcare, the division specializing in healthcare furniture and equipment. He successfully returned Milcare to profitability.
