CHARLOTTE, Mich., Jan 3, 2012Spartan Motors, announced that Dennis E. Schneider has joined the company as Vice President, Emergency Response Vehicles and will be responsible for leading Crimson Fire. His start date is today, January 3, 2012.

Schneider comes to Crimson Fire following an exceptional career spanning diversified industrial, industrial heavy equipment, aerospace, branded consumer hardware and consumer housewares. Most recently, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at Doosan Infracore International, formerly Ingersoll Rand (Bobcat, Portable Power and Attachments) where he was responsible for global operations including manufacturing, lean six sigma, supply chain, demand planning, quality, sourcing, logistics, advance planning, current product engineering, global M&A/integration activities and customer service.

“We are very pleased to see Dennis Schneider joining the Crimson Fire Team where he will lead our continued growth in the global Emergency Response (ER) market. His history of transforming companies through operational expertise, product innovation and partnership with distribution will benefit Crimson Fire,” said Tom Gorman, Chief Operating Officer at Spartan Motors. “With demand for services consistently expanding we remain very bullish on the ER market. What we expect to change in ER is not the demand signal, but rather the size, type, configuration and cost of fire apparatus. Dennis has performed exceptionally in leading organizations through transformations of a similar nature which bodes very well for the future of Crimson Fire,” said Gorman.
