The first ever brand new fire truck was delivered to Scott’s Ferry (FL) Volunteer Fire Department last week, according to a report published by mypanhandle.com.
The report said the new $300,000 apparatus can carry 1,200-gallons of water and will help the department protect its district which is about a 15-mile radius.
The fire chief and county officials say the new apparatus will help boost morale of the firefighters and might attract new ones, according to the report.
