San Francisco Fire Apparatus Does Not Move for Commuter Bus

Parked San Francisco Fire Department trucks made a left turn difficult for a commuter bus.

The commuter bus made a several point turn, backing up a few times in the middle of the intersection and blocking traffic, to get around the SFFD truck.

The fire truck did not make an attempt to move.

“No, I’m bigger than them. I make them move,” said the fire truck driver.

Minutes after the commuter bus cleared, a bus with an eBay placard in the window drove by unobstructed.

The firefighters had responded to Wells Fargo’s call about a smoke smell in the building. They said they couldn’t find a source for the stench.

One banker told Mission Local the firefighters decided it may have been a light.
