Rochester (NY) Fire Apparatus Hits Car

A Rochester fire truck, that was responding to a fire, hit the side of a car at the intersection of Bay Street and Goodman Street.

The truck was turning east onto Bay Street from Goodman when it hit the car. The truck did have lights and sirens on.

It has been reported that a 43-year-old Rochester woman was brought to the Rochester General Hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the car was ticketed for failure to yield and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

No firefighters were hurt in the incident. Another engine took over the fire call.
