Riverside (NM) VFD Replaces Aging Brush Fire Apparatus

An Eddy County volunteer fire department is getting a new truck to replace an aging brush fire truck, reports Carlsbad Current Argus.

Eddy County Board of Commissioners approved the use of $210,141 in fire excise tax funds to purchase a new brush truck for the Riverside Volunteer Fire Department.

The new vehicle will be able to hold 20 gallons of fire suppression foam, read a county commission agenda request.
