Richmond (KY) City Commission Approves Fire Apparatus Purchase

The Richmond City Commission has approved an order to purchase a fire truck, reports Richmond Register.

A committee has worked for the past year on the process of selecting a fire truck, which is expected to cost $1.5 million. The department’s current tower truck is more than 30 years old.

Decisions still need to be made about where to house the new truck and what to do with the old truck.
