A total of $338,923 for fire hall upgrades is headed to Port McNeill Fire Rescue (Canada)—with just over $271,000 coming from the feds, and about $68,000 coming from the province, reports mycampbellrivernow.com.
The money will be used to replace the fire hall’s roof, flooring, and bay door, in addition to installing a new generator.
Ten local fire halls across British Columbia are set to receive a total of more than $8.8 million through the Investing in Canada plan.
