Interlaken (NY) to Purchase New Fire Apparatus

Chris Nelson, Assistant Fire Chief, presented the monthly report from the Interlaken Fire Department. Bids for the new rescue truck were opened on December 4, 2014. The successful bid went to 4 Guys for $352,968. It is being financed with the Fire Department paying $50,000 to the Village over 10 years with $5,000 annual payments.

All five trucks sustained moderate damage and have since been relocated to neighboring departments and volunteer’s homes to await repairs.
