The York City Department of Fire/Rescue Services recently accepted delivery of a pair of apparatus.
“Today, our Department of Fire/Rescue Services accepted delivery of two new E-One Typhoon pumper engines,” the city writes on Facebook. “These machines were specified to meet the demands of urban fire/rescue operations. They are shorter in length and have a shorter wheelbase to allow for better maneuverability in the tight streets and alleys of our beloved city.
“Congratulations to our Fire/Rescue force on this great addition.”
