Photographer Steve Redick was on scene at this live burn. The truck shown is a 2015 Pierce Velocity 1,500/750 pumper. From Redick: “This was an area slated for demolition as a large industrial complex is going to be built on this site. The main fire building was an unusually large and modern house. It was very interesting to watch the behavior of the “O’Hare Noise” windows under fire conditions. Also unusual to see were two buildings allowed to burn at the same time. Wind conditions made for some interesting fire behavior too. All in all a good day with lots of cool photos and videos.
