1997 Spartan/Saulsbury 2,000/750 Pumper

Engine 300 is in service with Weldon Fire Company, Glenside, Pennsylvania. The apparatus is a 1997 Spartan/Saulsbury. It is built on a Spartan Gladiator cab and chassis with a Salusbury custom body. It features a Cummins M11 450-hp engine, Allison HD 4060P five-speed automatic transmission, 2,000-gpm pump, a 750-gallon tank, a 40-gallon foam cell, 10-kW generator, a Will-Burt Night Scan light tower, and seating for eight. It is shown here at a Firefighter I structural burn session held at the Abington Township Public Safety Training Center, in Glenside, Pennsylvania.
