The Newfield Fire Company recently took delivery of a new Freightliner pumper-tanker, the company said in a Facebook post recently.

“As part of the package deal we made with Firehouse Apparatus, Inc. and Spencer Manufacturing, Inc. the fire company will soon be placing into service this 3,000-gallon tanker,” the company said in the post.

The rig is equipped with a 1,500 gallon-per-minute pump, hand tools, air packs, fire suppression hose, supply hose, portable pumps, and more. The pumper-tanker is replacing a 1997 International pumper-tanker that has served the Newfield and surrounding communities since it was new.

“We want to thank Brush Mark Signs for the amazing vinyl work,” the post said.
