
The New Philadelphia (OH) Fire Department will dedicate a new apparatus on Saturday with a traditional “push-in” ceremony, according to a report published by The Times-Reporter.
The new $692,000 Pierce engine will go in service that day and is expected to be in service for at least 20 years, according to the report.
The public is invited to the event which will feature ice cream from Miller’s Creamery and free popcorn as well as a chance to see other equipment and apparatus, according to the report.
