The Elyria (OH) Fire Department recently introduced Engine 4, its 2021 Sutphen pumper.
The apparatus has a 1,000-gallon tank and will cover the northeast side of town. It replaces a 2006 model.
“I want to thank City Council and taxpayers for allowing us to purchase this,” says Joe Pronesti, fire chief. “It is going to be utilized. We are a very busy department.”
