Gurnee (IL) FD Welcomes New E-ONE Pumper

The Gurnee Fire Department announced recently that Engine 13, a 2024 E-ONE Cyclone, is now in service and actively responding to fire and medical calls, the Village of Gurnee said in a Facebook post.

“Equipped with the latest technology, this new engine enhances our ability to deliver fast and effective emergency response,” the post said.

Features include:

  • 1,500 gallon-per-minute (gpm) pump
  • 750-gallon water tank
  • Firefighting foam injection system
  • 30 gallons Class A foam tank
  • 6000-Watt generator
  • Battery-powered HURST extrication equipment
  • Battery-powered positive pressure fan
  • Various hand tools
  • Various length ladders
  • 2,900 feet of various size hose
