
The Gurnee Fire Department announced recently that Engine 13, a 2024 E-ONE Cyclone, is now in service and actively responding to fire and medical calls, the Village of Gurnee said in a Facebook post.
“Equipped with the latest technology, this new engine enhances our ability to deliver fast and effective emergency response,” the post said.
Features include:
- 1,500 gallon-per-minute (gpm) pump
- 750-gallon water tank
- Firefighting foam injection system
- 30 gallons Class A foam tank
- 6000-Watt generator
- Battery-powered HURST extrication equipment
- Battery-powered positive pressure fan
- Various hand tools
- Various length ladders
- 2,900 feet of various size hose
