Police Searching for Man Who Shot Redlands (CA) Fire Apparatus

Police are investigating after a gunman opened fire on a Redlands fire truck and hit its windshield, reports KTLA 5.

The fire department posted to Facebook, “In the early hours this morning ME263 responded to a residence in the 1500 block of Lassen Street for a medical aid. While the crew was inside of the residence they reported hearing what sounded to be a gunshot. Upon exiting the residence they noticed a hole in the windshield of the driver side and notified @redlandspd immediately. There are no reports of injuries and the incident is under investigation at this time by the local police authority.”
