Plainfield (IL) Fire Protection District Announces New Fire Apparatus

The Plainfield Fire Protection District has announced the arrival of a new fire engine, reports The Herald-News.

The 2019 Pierce Pumper was put into service in January. This fire engine carries 750 gallons of water and has a 1,500 gallon a minute pump. The previous fire engine will be used as a reserve.
