The Florida Antique Bucket Brigade hosted the 2025 Winter Society for the Preservation and Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus in America (SPAAMFAA) convention held March 5-8, 2025, in Kissimmee, Florida.
The event included tours to Pierce Manufacturing, the Tampa Fire Department Museum and Ybor City/Tampa, St. Augustine, with seminars and 2½ days of flea market vendors, more than 50 antique fire apparatus on display from various states, leather bucket raffle, and a Lionel miniature train set.
Generally held in late February, and often hosted by a local chapter in a warmer, Southern climate, this meeting focuses on the business of the organization. During the winter meeting, membership ballots are counted, new officers and trustees are elected, and the board of trustees holds one of its two required annual meetings.
