
Salisbury Township (PA) Fire Company No.1 (White Horse Volunteers, Lancaster County, PA Station 49) runs Engine 49-2, a 2014 Pierce Impel PUC. The apparatus features a 1,500-gpm PUC pump; 1,250-gallon tank and 30-gallon foam cell; Husky® foam system; Control Zone™; hands-free SCBA brackets, PS6™ seats; side roll protection system; AK-4® independent front suspension; tire protection system; VLH® Caps. The rig is built on a Pierce Impel cab and chassis; has an overall height of 10 feet, eight inches; and is powered by a Cummins ISL 450-hp engine. The fire company was founded in 1914.
