Panama City (FL) Donates Fire Apparatus

The Panama City Fire Department (FL) is donating a fire engine to the Monticello Florida Volunteer Fire Department, who will be using the truck for a backup water supply.

The department just recently bought a new Rosenberg Fire Engine which is allowing them to part with the fire pumper which has been in service since 1982.

MFD Assistant Fire Chief, Mike Long, said, “The guys are waiting for me to get back home. They are excited to have a truck at home. They are probably looking at the time right now and they probably won’t see it tonight, but I will probably have people at the house by the morning. It’s like Christmas morning for us.”
