Three firefighters were injured Sunday when a driver crashed into the chief’s pickup truck at a road barricade near the site of a standoff.
Three firefighters belonging to the Crescent Hose Company in North East, Pennsylvania, were treated and released at an area medical facility after the crash, according to a report on goerie.com (http://bit.ly/11ZujbX). The 65-year-old driver of the truck was taken into police custody Sunday under suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
A portion of the road had been closed off due to a police standoff with a gunman.
