Oshkosh (WI) Receives New Rescue Boat for Ice Incidents

The Winnebago County (WI) Sheriff’s Office delivered new Boat 15 to the Oshkosh Fire Department Station 15, Oshkosh Fire announced Thursday, March 6 in a Facebook post.

Boat 15, which is owned by the sheriff’s office, will be jointly run by Oshkosh Fire and the sheriff’s office, the post said.

The boat will be used for ice rescues.

“Hopefully it will just be staying put in the station for the rest of the year,” the post said.
