Oklahoma Teenagers Stole Two Fire Apparatus

An Oklahoma sheriff says two drunken teenage boys have been arrested for stealing two fire trucks and wrecking one.

Le Flore County Sheriff Rob Seale says two 17-year-olds were arrested Thursday night for taking the trucks from the Monroe Volunteer Fire Department. He says authorities were alerted after the boys drove by an off-duty deputy’s home with lights and sirens on.

Seale says they used security codes to enter the station. He says they crashed an older-model fire truck into a tree and drove it back to the station. The truck is totaled.
