Odessa (NY) Fire Apparatus Damaged After Accident

A fire truck from the Odessa Fire Department was involved in an accident, reports WENY News.

The accident happened after the road collapsed, causing the truck to go off the side of the roadway. The pumper truck was being driven by a 23-year member of the fire department, and that driver was not injured. The Odessa Fire Department released a statement saying, “We are thankful that the safety features built into this truck helped prevent our firefighter from being injured during this incident.”
