Union Springs Pharmaceuticals has a new ViralClyns P95 disposable respirator that it says serves as a virtually impenetrable barrier against airborne viruses and other opportunistic pathogens.
The ViralClyns P95 respirator is more effective than other respirators in its class, stopping 99.99 percent of airborne and droplet viruses, according to the Union Springs. Utilizing patented Triosyn Antimicrobial Protection, the company said respirator is also able to stop and inactivate viruses, bacteria, protozoa and fungi, and the carbon filter shields against smoke and nuisance odors.
An international team of microbiologists, toxicologists, chemists and engineers created the ViralClyns respirator after more than 15 years of research and development.
“The ViralClyns respirator offers unparalleled protection and a new standard of effectiveness,” Union Springs Pharmaceuticals President Joel Ivers said. “We are proud to now offer Viral-Clyns to our first responders and others that may be at risk for exposure to airborne threats.”
The respirator, available for $9.99, has two designs – with and without an exhalation valve. The respirator also features adjustable straps and a full-face foam seal for a secure fit.
