The Neosho Fire Department has received its highly anticipated new fire engine. The pumper truck was custom made for the Neosho Fire Department by Precision Fire Apparatus of Camdenton (MO) at a budgeted cost of $550,624.
The new fire engine will not officially go into service until it is fully equipped and personnel receive additional training, which should be completed in about two weeks.
The 2013 fire engine will replace a 1987 model, which will now go into reserve. This will allow the department’s 1979 fire engine, currently in reserve, to be retired and placed into surplus.
